Have you ever heard of Pixiv? It's the Japanese equivalent of deviantart, with a drastically different format, nonetheless. In the sense that it's wholly devoted to art and literature, both fan made and original. So no journals or chat rooms.
However, of late every time an artist removes a piece of art that I love, it just rips a hole in my heart. If it's something I haven't bookmarked, I just need to have a quick look at the number of works to know that something is missing. And if I have it bookmarked, it just leaves an ugly blank space in my bookmarks list. It doesn't even tell me who the artist was, so I can try and contact them.
I'm serious. It just leaves a hole in my heart when an artist removes any artwork that I've loved. Especially since the stuff that I love is next to impossible to find otherwise.
Currently the fandom I'm referring to is Tiger and Bunny, but even in the general context, it's heart breaking for me as a fan.

It breaks my heart to write this and I hope you'll take out a minute of your time to read this, especially if you and I were ever friends.
There was a time when my activities on this site were nothing more than lurking, adding art to my faves, commenting on art, etc. There was little or no interaction with other users on the site. Then once I got passionately involved in fandoms, I actively sought out many role play partners and we became fast friends. Soon I was part of a vibrant bunch of role players and I'd never felt this happy in a long time.

I was told by one of my Tumblr role play partners, who happens to be a far more active and diverse role player, that I make her feel like an amateur. This girl happens to be heavily involved in multiple role plays at a time, and this compliment coming from her, is a big deal :love: :dance:
